Sexy Sunday - Vamps with Devyn Quinn

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with vampires. Though I can’t recall the age in which I discovered vampires, I do recall the first actor to make an impression in the title role of Dracula: Jack Palance. At the time I didn’t know who the actor was. And I didn’t care. I was just hooked on vampires. And there were lots of them, on the big screen and the small, fulfilling my fantasies of being swept off my feet by a sexy dark stranger with a lust for necks. Didn’t matter that old Drac might be long in the tooth or maybe a few centuries too old for me. I literally lived for vamps, immersing myself in the legend and the lore.

So when it came time to start writing my own books (and that’s a whole other story there) the one thing I definitely wanted to try my hand at was the immortal bloodsucker. Since I find myself disliking the idea of the vampire being undead (uh, creepy) I decided to branch off and create my own lore. That’s why Iollan Drake, the vampire hero of my book, Embracing Midnight, is quite a different species of vampire. What kind is he? Well, I won’t give up too many of his secrets in this short paragraph. Suffice to say, Iollan is tall, dark and handsome, with a particular thirst for blood…

I tried not to pick the most obvious choices and so I am glade that Veronica Blake finally mentioned the Hotty who brought me over to Team Edward and got me to look at the books.  I am embarrassed to confess my new obsession.  It is why I have been offline all day indulging in some reading.

Rie McGaha - , I have to say my very favorite is Geraint Wyn Davies who stared as Nick Knight in the series Forever Knight.

I vote for Kyle Schmid who played Henry Fitzroy in the Blood Ties adaptation of Tanya Huff's urban fantasy vampire novels. I love me some Henry.  Michelle Polaris - yum choice indeed.  I am not familiar but I will keep my eyes open now

I have also had a fascination with vampires for as long as I can remember. I love vampire fiction, and have an extensive book collection to prove it! It's hard for me to pick one that's my favorite, because there are so many! Probably the first one I remember being enamored with was Ben Cross as Barnabas Collins in the 90s revival of the series Dark Shadows. He was older, distinguished, enigmatic, frightening, and sexy all at once. I grew to love Angel and Spike on Buffy, and of course Mick St. John from Moonlight.
