Table for Three by Missy Martine Reviewed

Table for Three
Cass Abernathy is heading to Oregon to claim an inheritance. She doesn’t expect to find sexy twin brothers determined to make her theirs, or an amorous attorney holding on to her inheritance. Will she accept the love offered, and discover the truth about her inheritance before it's too late?
[Menage Amour: Erotic Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, May-December]
3/5 Car Horns

A Table for Three by Missy Martine is the story of a divorced, abused woman who decides to change her life by leaving her native state, all that she knows, for the property and home left to her by a deceased uncle.  During her stay in Mountain View, Oregon, she falls in love with identical twin brothers. The situation is a problem for Cass, who had been physically abused by her ex-husband, whom she had sent to jail, but has not psychologically handled.

There is a certain warmth that lures the reader into the storyline in a very slow manner, however there seems to be a few flaws with the story that if rewritten and corrected could make it even better. The characters of Cass, David and Matt are well-set in the storyline and the main idea is unique, but there are a lot of details that are mentioned within it that just hangs in the story.  For example, there is the repeated mention of the ex-husband throughout the story so that one would expect him to make a guest appearance. Also there is more than one emotional display of jealousy by the lawyer's secretary, Serena Dammler, that is never resolved. An unique and surprising twist in the story because the culprit is never a suspect until the end.
The author of this book shows an unique flare for writing, and this tale of woe between Cass and the twins is a good one, but it leaves a lot of hanging questions and suffers from a lack of flowing long conversations between characters to really cement the story together, however, I think it is an exceptional story that is well written and brilliant in its concept.

I would give this novel a three out of five for content/hotness and I think in the future, this author will indeed show tremendous works of exquiste novels, so she is an author to watch and read.

Oh My! What do WE Think about Younger Men with MIssy Martine

Older Women with Younger Men
Would You?

I’ve been asked a lot lately about why I chose to make the heroine of my newest book an older woman.  And even more shocking, she’s an older woman in love with sexy, twin brothers!  How scandalous!
But is it really that shocking?  I like to think not, but I’m especially prejudice since I’m married to a younger man.  Unconsciously, honestly, I seemed to have based my heroine in “Table for Three” on myself.  I spent twenty years in an unhappy marriage, although not physically abusive like Cass, until I finally had the courage to go out on my own.  I’d barely signed my signature to an apartment lease when I met my future husband online in a chat room
Did I consciously go looking for someone much younger?  Absolutely not!  To be truthful, I had resigned myself to a life alone before I broke the ties of my first marriage.  After that many years I think you’re conditioned to think that the chance for love has passed you by, and I was no different.  I was determined to be content just living alone and having close friends.

Then I met Nigel and he literally swept me off my feet.  That man made me realize that I’d never had true love, or known what romance was all about.  He didn’t care that I was older, and when I was with him, I didn’t care either.
What draws women to younger men?  I wish I had a firm answer for that question, but I’m sorry to say I don’t.  I was drawn to the idea that this sexy, younger man wanted me and only me.  He literally bombarded me with romance that included flowers, letters, emails, and romantic weekends together in different cities.  I dare any woman not to surrender to that kind of intense pursuit.
I asked my man why he thought so many men were attracted to older women.  He told me that it was mainly because men develop sexually earlier than women, and most men wanted a woman who had an equal sex drive.  Okay, so he’s not always romantic, sometimes he just a man!  I think, for me, it was the lure of almost living my life over in the eyes of someone who really loved me.  Everything with him has been like a new experience and it’s something I would never give up.  Of course, if I’m honest, he’s right.  The sex is a major plus in finding yourself a younger man!
As for making the men of my book sexy, younger twins, I have to admit that’s a fantasy of mine.  I think every woman, at one time or another, has a secret desire to know what it would be like to have two men make love to her.  I took it one step further, and made the men identical twins.  Can you imagine two sexy men, identical in looks, surrounding you with their heat?  The same body build, the same feel to their hands and mouth, the same scents, and a lot of the time the same thoughts and ideas.  You wouldn’t know where one began and the other ended.  It’s a nice fantasy, but I’m not sure anybody is ready for that in real life.
Thanks for listening to my ideas on older women and younger men.  Pick up a copy of my book “Table for Three” and see what you think of their love.  You can find details at my website:  www.missymartine.com.
